Suzie Templeton - United Kingdom - |
|
|
Born in 1967, Suzie Templeton burst onto the international animation scene with her multi-award winning film Stanley, a surreal and darkly comic story of a man who falls in love with a cabbage. She followed this with Dog. This film has won many of the animation world’s top prizes, including a British Animation Award and a BAFTA. Peter and the Wolf allows Suzie Templeton to propose her own version of Sergeï Prokofiev's masterpiece with, notably, an unexpected final scene. The film was awarded the Annecy Cristal for best short film as well as the Audience Award at the Annecy Festival in 2007.
